About Ellie:

There are a lot of hard things in life. When your kids are struggling with eating issues, bullying, or not feeling like they matter. When your relationship feels disconnected and full of exhausting fights or equally painful silences. If you wake up each day wondering, ‘Am I getting it right or failing at every turn?’ – you’re not alone.

As a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, I use a simple philosophy when I work with clients. My goal is to help people recover in the right direction. When you have an issue as a parent, as a couple or within yourself, there are two ‘ends’ to your pain. There’s the pain of staying where you are – and there’s the pain of learning a new way of living or behaving. Both options are a choice and it’s my job to guide you in the direction of recovery. I help you make the choice that brings you one-step closer to living better.

I work with children, teens, and adults struggling with depression, anxiety, binge eating disorders, anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, trauma, social anxiety, child anxiety, and obsessive compulsive disorder.

I’ll never tell you I can relieve all of your anxiety, cure your child’s pain or make it feel like your challenges never happened – but I can help you cope, I can help you handle what’s happening and I can help you do the hard things that will change how you live. I believe:

It’s okay to make mistakes.
It’s okay to try and fail.
It’s okay to be human.

There’s a cycle to life built on rupture and repair and each time you repair an issue with your child, your partner or yourself – you build a type of resiliency that leads to an empowered life.
Choosing a therapist who gives you a sense of ease and trust, has the experience and training that can help you with the challenges you’re facing, and creates a connection that feels right can mean the difference between a successful outcome and feeling stuck in your pain.

If you’re ready to move in the direction of recovery – I’m here to help you take the first step.
